Agreement signed for the sale of Mibelle Biochemistry to the Solabia Group
The multinational Persán, a European market leader in the areas of home care and personal care, has entered into an agreement to sell Mibelle Biochemistry to the Solabia Group, a global leader in biotechnology-driven active ingredients for health and beauty industries.
The transaction allows Persán to focus on its core business areas, while ensuring that Mibelle Biochemistry continues to grow under a specialized owner in cosmetic and nutraceutical ingredients.
Headquartered in Paris, the Solabia Group operatea eleven manufacturing sites and eight R&D labs worldwide and has over 900 employees. The acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry strengthens Solabia’s leadership in natural active ingredients by bringing together complementary technologies and product strengths, especially in natural and bio-based actives. Customers benefit from a broader portfolio while continuing to rely on the known Swiss made quality of Mibelle Biochemistry.
The more than 50 employees of the Mibelle Biochemistry division will continue to work under the new ownership of Solabia.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
